Abstract

The aim of this study is to find the relationship between achievement motivation, locus of control and academic achievement in high school students of Bandar Abbas (Iran). For testing the hypotheses of the research 211 high school students were selected randomly. Rotter locus of control scale, achievement motivation scale and students scores were used. Statistical analyzing data showed there is positive relationship between these variables. © 2011 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
