A substantial number of changes are underway across AAVMC member institutions in response to the KPMG study. Those highlighted in this report demonstrate a number of innovative approaches to improvement of the nontechnical SKAs through educational programming. Many include partnerships with industry, and many include collaborations with experts and/or academic units outside the college or school of veterinary medicine. Continued exchange of ideas and willingness to work together should further strengthen such programs in the future.
