Abstract

This book summarizes very briefly reasons why scientists publish their work. Quite different motiva-tions are cited based on an extensive survey. The most important reason for academics to publish is to share new knowledge in order to progress research and development. Este libro resume brevemente las razones por las cuales los científicos publican su trabajo. Se citan una gran cantidad de razones para ello en una exploración amplia. La razón más importante de publicar es compartir el nuevo conocimiento en orden de que progrese la investigación y el desarrollo.
