This quasi-experimental study aimed to evaluate the use of a group biblio-poetry therapy intervention for undergraduates. Twenty-five undergraduates experienced a series of six weekly online one-hour sessions with a trained facilitator. The researchers hypothesized that the intervention would increase their emotional resilience by encouraging the expression of emotions. Results showed that the biblio-poetry intervention with undergraduate college students resulted in significantly different overall scores on the Resilience Scale for Adults. These results suggest that biblio-poetry therapy improves resilience in undergraduates. Biblio-poetry therapy appeared beneficial when used in a group context with a skilled facilitator; however, the researchers recommended more extensive randomized control group trials for future research. The study enhances understanding of university students’ psychological well-being, informing targeted interventions to improve their resilience and mental health.
