Abstract

SUMMARY The author gives an annotated list of the species of reptile at present known from Awash National Park (Shoa, Ethiopia). All 39 forms are also found in N W Somalia; moreover three of them are known only from these two regions: Coluber taylori, Philochortus phillipsi and Hemidactylus ophiolepis. Coluber taylori and Philochortus phillipsi appear to be new records for Ethiopia.
