Information security for multiple storage systems

Abstract

In this paper we investigate a private information retrieval (PIR) scheme for secure distributed storage systems to provide additional security for systems in the presence of external security threats such as eavesdroppers. In the proposed system we use a query distribution system for splitting query requests across multiple databases to provide additional security.
