Abstract

The purpose of the article is to study the actual tendencies in the Russian labor market and to study the essence and causal connections of the Russian labor market as a result of development of Internet technologies. The authors use the method of trend analysis for determining the value and direction of the change of the key indicators of the Russian labor market’s development and the method of correlation analysis for determining the character and strength of influence on these indicators of Internet technologies’ development. The time frames of the research are 2005–2017. The following components of the labor markets are studies: ratio of employment and unemployment, ratio of employment as to forms of property, sectorial structure of employment, age structure of employment, and structure of employment as to the level of education. The indicator of development of Internet technologies is average value of the indices of Internet development according to the Wide Web Foundation. The authors substantiate that the Russian labor market is peculiar for intensive transformation processes under the influence of Internet technologies’ development. The work also shows that the determined transformation processes under the influence of Internet technologies’ development may cause the problems of the labor market’s development. For the complex solution of these problems, practical recommendations are offered, and a conceptual model of managing the transformation processes in the Russian labor market is created.
