Abstract

The global lockdown, caused by the COVID-19 pandemic enforced distance training. The effectiveness of the learning process has been put to the test. This research discusses the healthcare students' experience and evaluation of teaching and learning at Medical University – Plovdiv during the lockdown. The students evaluate the educational process as successful. Though the majority of them adapted easily to the distance learning, they miss live communication. Computer literacy self-assessment, learning environment and year of study are key factors that influence students' evaluation and experience in distance learning.
