Abstract

Argues that world trade is unequal and weighted heavily against the South. This reflects the colonial legacy, the post-World War two decline in commodity prices, and the lack of bargaining power of the countries of the South. There is no meaningful dialogue between the N and the S, and alternatives are urgently required to end the injustices of the current situation.-from Author
