On September 2017, Ciudadanos parliamentary group, presented a law proposal regarding the subrogate gestation right to the Spanish Congress. This proposal consecrates acknowledgement or altruism as its main principle, that along with the previously informed agreement of the pregnant woman, attempts to transmute the subrogate gestation issue as an act of solidarity and thankfulness completely harmless and sterile. Nevertheless, the mere impossibility that the pregnant mother could revoke her consent, stated at the beginning of the relationship, shows the disguise in which it is attempted to hide her exploitation in this assisted reproduction technique.
