Abstract
ABSTRACT Objective: Map the evidence on interventions to promote mental health in university students. Methods: This is a scope review guided by the guidelines of the Joanna Briggs Institute and carried out in two different repositories. Bibliographical materials were selected and analyzed that presented interventions to promote the mental health of university students. Results: 19 bibliographical materials met the eligibility criteria. Several constructs were evaluated during the interventions, where the majority did not carry out interventions considering the peculiarities of each moment for this university student and did not address a theory in its foundation. Conclusions: There is a lack of studies that address this type of intervention. The need to develop new proposals for interventions to promote the mental health of university students is evident.
