Abstract

Ideal synthesis: From the point of view of catalytic efficiency and simplicity, the gold(I)-catalyzed synthesis of homoallylic ketones from alkynes and allyl alcohols is the best method for the synthesis of these compounds. This is also an excellent example of green chemistry in chemical synthesis.
