Effect of Nitrogen Fertilization, Sowing Methods and Sowing Dates on Yield and Yield Attributes of Wheat (Triticum aestivum L)

Abstract

Grain yield of wheat cv. UP 003 grown at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh in winter 1986/87 was not significantly affected by neem-cake, pyrite (250 kg/ha), Cytozyme [cytokinin + auxin + enzymes + trace elements] (450 ml/ha) or Mixtalol [triacontanol] (625 ml/ha) application. Yield was higher with 'border' sowing than with the normal method [not specified].
