Abstract

As China's "natural backyard," Southeast Asia offers diverse political and economic landscapes for mapping how and why Chinese migration and capital flows matter. The 11 essays in this collection draw from several disciplinary perspectives. All eschew an approach that would limit China's influence to policy and government initiatives.
