Abstract

This paper discusses the geographical and ethnographical information present in the image of Hispania recorded by Pliny the Elder in Naturalis Historia (bks. 3-4), in the framework of his description of the orbis terrarum and the geographical knowledge of the beginning of the Early Empire.
