Abstract

Due to the increasing number of people with dementia, end of life care is a great challenge. Misjudgement of stressful symptoms leads to inappropriate interventions and treatment. Particularly in advanced dementia the implementation of a geriatric palliative care including care concepts based on clinical guidelines is essential. Existing work tools contribute to a palliative care of high quality.
