Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: To assess the effectiveness of antibiotic locks versus standard non-antibiotic lock in the prevention of catheter-related infections in newborn infants of any gestational age during their initial stay in the neonatal unit and to study any relevant side effects from antibiotic lock therapy.
