Compatibilidade entre os dados do cartão da gestante e o sistema informatizado da web sisprenatal

Abstract

The Brazilian Ministry of Health asserts that the prenatal and puerperal cares are extremely important to a healthy pregnancy and to the wellbeing of mother and fetus. In this context, the Pregnant Card and the Sisprenatal register - an informational system for monitoring health of both mother and baby - has been deployed in the Brazilian Unified National Health System. To improve the quality of information and medical care practiced for pregnant women. The Pregnant Card has the purpose of being used by the health professionals enabling the exchange of information for a better outpatient and hospital care. Any failure to fill out a Pregnant Card or Sisprenatal register can reduce the quality of prenatal care at all levels of care and management with insufficient data to plan, control and evaluate health programs. Thus, this research aims to verify the compatibility between information from Pregnant Card and computerized web system Sisprenatal of pregnant women. We carried out a quantitative research with descriptive design, with 150 pregnant women who attend an obstetrical emergency hospital on the east side of Sao Paulo - SP, Brasil. The researchers analyzed variables related to pregnant women, conduction of the mandatory actions of prenatal care, data related to the service, and data related to Sisprenatal. The results proved that there is compatibility between data from both sources (Pregnant Card and Sisprenatal system) in only 20% of the cases analyzed. Therefore, this is a very relevant study, since it intends to contribute to the health professionals involved in the care of the puerperal and her baby, providing data and offering a picture about the difficulties encountered by health professionals who attend directly the pregnant women and the managers who do not have complete information for the management of the health system.
