LA SOBERANÍA, EL PODER CONSTITUYENTE Y UNA NUEVA CONSTITUCIÓN PARA CHILE

Abstract

This paper aims at analyzing the concept of sovereignty and various classifications, from a diachronic and synchronic standpoint. Likewise, the concept of constituting power is also addressed. Lastly, this paper applies those concepts to the very recent intents to discuss a new constitution in Chile. This work argues that the best way to fully abide by the concept of sovereignty in Chile is using the mechanism of a constituent assembly.
