Letramento Digital, Educação Midiática e Produção de Sentidos: Diálogos Possíveis

Abstract

As tecnologias digitais estão cada vez mais presentes em nossa vida social mediada por processos midiáticos e, com isso, tem se tornado frequente a necessidade de se refletir sobre a importância e a influência das mídias nas interações humanas. Este artigo tem por objetivo apresentar discussões e reflexões sobre possíveis diálogos entre educação midiática, produção de sentidos dos discursos produzidos socialmente, letramento digital e suas contribuições para a formação de professores de línguas. Por meio de uma pesquisa qualitativa, de cunho bibliográfico e teórico de estudiosos da área de Educação, Comunicação Social, Análise do Discurso e Linguística Aplicada, percebemos a necessidade das interseções entre as abordagens teóricas e as áreas de conhecimento para lidar com as incertezas e as urgências da formação de professores de línguas sob uma ótica discursiva. Inferimos também a importância de se buscar e se (re)pensar a formação docente através do prisma da educação midiática a partir dos discursos produzidos em nossas relações e interações sociais.Digital technologies are increasingly present in our social life mediated by media processes and, therefore, the need to reflect on the importance and influence of media in human interactions has become frequent. This paper aims to present discussions and reflections about possible dialogues between media education, discourse meaning production socially, digital literacy, and their contributions to language teacher training. Through a qualitative, bibliographic and theoretical research of researchers from the fields of Education, Social Communication, Discourse Analysis and Applied Linguistics, we noticed the necessity of the intersections between theoretical approaches and fields of knowledge to deal with the uncertainties and urgencies of language teacher training from a discursive perspective. We also infer the importance of seeking to (re)think about teacher training in the prism of media education from the discourses produced in our social relations and interactions.
