Abstract

Objectives: This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows:. Primary objective To quantify the dose-related effects of various adrenergic agonist oral decongestants on systolic and diastolic blood pressure compared to placebo. Secondary objectives To quantify the dose-related effect of adrenergic agonist oral decongestants on heart rate. To quantify the dose-related effects of adrenergic agonist oral decongestants on withdrawals due to adverse effects.
