Abstract
A learning process will work well in someone if there are willingness to learn, desires, and strong encouragement called motivation. Motivation is a mental impulse that moves and directs the person's attitude and behavior in learning. This research was aimed to determine the effects of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation on the learning outcomes of participants in a training named "Diklat Penguatan Kepala Sekolah Negeri di Provinsi DKI Jakarta Tahun 2019". The results of the research indicated some points: 1) intrinsic motivation partially had a significant effect on the learning outcomes of training participants with an F count = 95.452 and a significance (p) of 0.000 (p <0.05) and a contribution of 36.1%; 2) partially, extrinsic motivation has significantly influences the learning outcomes of training participants with F count = 41.992 and significance (p) <0.05 and contribution of 19.91%; 3) intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation together have a significant effect on the learning outcomes of training participants, with F arithmetic = 52.587 and significance (p) <0.05 and contribution of 38.5%. Suggestions for BPSDM DKI Jakarta in order to follow up the research's results to increase the intrinsic and extrinsic motivation of training participants are increasing the number of training related to the substance of competence, developing training models and improve training facilities; accentuating the use of varied, innovative, creative and interesting methods and learning medias.Keywords: intrinsic motivation, extrinsic, learning outcomes
