Abstract

The claim by Choi [C.-R. Choi, D.-Y. Lee, Y.-H. Kim, and N. C. Lee, Phys. Plasmas 16, 043701 (2009)] that different solitary wave types (humps, dips, and kinks) can be combined in one smooth profile is completely erroneous and contravenes generic rules for pseudopotential treatments. © 2009 American Institute of Physics.
