Abstract

In this chapter information about interior of the Sun, atmosphere of the Sun, origin of the solar energy, extraterrestrial and terrestrial solar radiation, mea- surements of sunshine duration, direct solar radiation intensity and intensity ofglobal and diffuse solar radiation, solar radiation on an inclined surface, propagation of solar radiation through atmosphere and the Earth revolution are given
