The historical bases of peruvian international constitutional law

Abstract

The present work explores the bases, in the Peruvian case, of what the doctrine has called "international constitutional law". In this way, it will be analyzed how it is that in the 19th century the foundations of this discipline began to be established. It will be shown that, despite the silence of the constituents of that time, there were different Peruvian thinkers who were concerned with analyzing issues such as the relationship between municipal and international law and the position of treaties in the legal system. In the same way, it will also be examined the vision that the Peruvian State had on aspects concerning international law.
