Abstract
This paper describes a case of neurocysticercosis in a 73-year-old man from Nepal on a visit to USA. He had multiple tonic-clonic seizures on hospital admission. A 1-cm brain lesion was detected by computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. Brain biopsy examination established the diagnosis of neurocysticercosis. The patient was successfully treated with albendazole, with no recurrent seizures.
