Abstract

The article investigates the work-related cultural values and organizational commitment of Japanese, Thai, and U.S. managers. It provides an overview on the complexities of national cultural values within each country due to inherent beliefs and values in their cultures. Methods used include Meyer and Allen's and 5-point Likert types scales. It cites the significant differences in organizational commitment and cultural values of those countries such as affective and normative commitment.
