Abstract

The goal of a comment is not merely to defend the methodology used in Sagie, Elizur and Yamauchi's (1996) study, but to confront 2 approaches to cross-cultural research, and to show that the approach used in the former study is not less appropriate than Lachman's (1997) for understanding the complex cultural phenomena.
