Abstract

This article is devoted to increasing the use of natural gas on the basis of an efficient territorial and quantitative location of natural gas refuelling stations (NGV RS). The key factors which can affect it are offered. On the basis of the chosen factors on the example of Tyumen the option of a territorial location of 4 NGV RS capable to satisfy the demand for natural gas by motor transport in the short term is considered. Increased use of natural gas (NG) on motor transport allows to reduce the negative impact on the environment from harmful substances emitted with exhaust gases.
