Intersection representations of graphs by arcs

Abstract

In this paper we investigate relationship between the intersection pattern of families of arcs in a graph H and the structure of H. Some steps are made toward an effective characterization of such patterns when H is an acyclic graph. © 1970 by Pacific Journal of Mathematics.
