Digital fashion is the use of computer technology to simulate the visual representation of clothing and the physical properties of clothing textures. Virtual clothing and digital fashion will continue to explore innovative directions to revolutionize the virtual experience for a long time to come. They are new ways for fashion brands to interact with us living in a digital world, and possibly a unique look for the digital inhabitants living in a 'metaverse'. The virtual technologies that digital fashion relies on have been developed over a long period of time, relying on virtual apparel design systems that provide designers with a more convenient 3D virtual interaction platform, greatly improving efficiency. This paper provides an overview of key digital fashion technologies: 3D human modeling, 3D garment modeling and simulation technology and garment virtual display.
