Abstract

The article discusses the importance of developing environmental education in the Republic of Uzbekistan, emphasizing the ecological significance, global concern for nature conservation, ongoing efforts to deliver sustainable education to future generations without shortages, the demands placed on the education and upbringing processes in our country, and their content. It also highlights the significance of ecological initiatives, systematic tasks and assignments aimed at enhancing environmental education within the comprehensive education system, and the structure for developing students’ ecological competence.
