Abstract

This Editorial expresses our solidarity with the people of Ukraine, a sovereign, democratic state that was invaded illegally by Russia on 24 February 2022 by the orders of President Vladimir Putin. A brutal war is being waged against the Ukrainians, indiscriminately killing innocent civilians and children and razing city centres to the ground.
