Abstract

The automotive sector has evolved since it has increased by 16.23% compared to the periods of 2020. This happened, since the local economy in 2021 has been activated thanks to sectors such as manufacturing, construction, mining, and commerce, generating dynamism in the import, sector of the object of study. This research analyzes and studies the Systematic Layout Planning and 5S methodologies, since through these the objective will be fulfilled, which is to increase productivity in the unloading and storage processes in a Peruvian company that imports imported spare parts, this has a gap 40% technical compared to the sector, which has a productivity of 8 pieces/HH in both processes. Through the implementation of the proposed model, it was possible to redistribute and organize the warehouse and achieve the proposed objectives, since the productivity in the processes increased by 40%, the net margin by 60%, warehouse capacity utilization reached 90% and labor costs were reduced by 40%.
