The Role of Economic, Health, and Educational Facilities and Infrastructure in Community Welfare in Districts and Cities in East Java Province

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of economic, health, and educational infrastructure on the improvement of the Human Development Index (HDI) in the Districts and Cities of East Java Province. The data analysis technique used in this research is panel data regression analysis with the Fixed Effect Model method, with research objects being 38 districts and cities in East Java Province from 2018 to 2022. The result of this study is that the variables of economic and health infrastructure have a positive and significant impact on the Human Development Index in East Java Province. Meanwhile, the variable of education infrastructure does not affect the Human Development Index in East Java Province.
