Abstract

Chiral pyridinamides are promising metal complexing ligands for use in asymmetric catalytic reactions. A large variety of complexes with different structure have been prepared and their properties investigated. Metal complexes containing early transition metals in high oxidation states have found use as chiral Lewis acids. © Acta Chemica Scandinavica 1996.
