Effect of low back pain on ergonomic risk factors, functional disability, pain beliefs and occupational burnout levels in hairdressers

Abstract

Purpose: The aim of this study was to compare ergonomic risk factors, functional disability level, pain beliefs, occupational burnout levels between hairdressers with and without back pain. Materials and Methods: The working posture and equipment usage frequency of 81 hairdressers were evaluated in terms of ergonomic risk factors. Oswestry Disability Index and Back Pain Functional Scale were used for the level of functional disability.
