Abstract

The objective of this work is to define and evaluate the process of software testing development for the Ginga platform, focusing on system testing specifically for Ginga-NCL. The main motivations are Brazil's expectation has 54 million TV sets with Ginga by the end of 2016 and the lack of systematic approaches to software testing for these products. The proposed process is divided into planning, specification, implementation and analysis. This paper presents an assessment of all steps from the execution of tasks, papers and generating artifacts using products on the market today in a production environment.
