PERFORMA RANTAI PASOK (SUPPLY CHAIN) KOPI ARABIKA (COFFEA ARABICA) DI KECAMATAN RUMBIA, KABUPATEN JENEPONTO

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Arabica coffee supply chain and analyze the efficiency of the Arabica coffee supply chain in Rumbia District, Jeneponto Regency. The population of this study was farmers and traders of Arabica coffee in the District of Rumbia, Jeneponto Regency. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling method that is farmers and all traders who buy the products of coffee farmers. Where farmers are 15 people, traders collect 7 people and wholesalers 3 people, so the total respondents are 25 people. In this study using data analysis, namely marketing margin analysis, farmer's share and marketing efficiency. The results showed that the flow of information on Arabica coffee supply chain performance in Rumbia District began from agroindustry to wholesalers to traders to farmers. The flow of products ranging from farmers to traders to wholesalers ends in agroindustry, the flow of money is done using 2 payment systems, namely cash and transfer. Agroindustry and large traders use the transfer payment system while the collecting traders use cash / cash payment systems. The volume of Arabica coffee supplies from farmers to collectors is 10,000 Kg, from 10,000 traders to wholesalers. then from wholesalers to agroindustry that is 10,000 Kg. The quality required by collectors and wholesalers is perfect red color, ± 12% moisture content, large wedges and distinctive aroma and the efficiency of Arabica coffee marketing for collecting traders is not efficient while large traders are already efficient.
