State of the Art Twenty Years On: Reflections

Abstract

The article offers information on the papers presented at the vicentennial conference of the Association for the Rhetoric of Science and Technology (ARST) related to the disciplinary prospects of rhetoric of science and technology. It discusses three papers focusing on rhetorical invention, institutional changes and public engagement by rhetoricians. It mentions that these papers are distinguished on the basis of their foci on globalization, invention, and interaction of public spheres.
