Abstract

This study’s purpose is to reveal the effect of Situational Leadership Style (Telling, Selling, Participating and Delegating Style) as partially and simultaneously to Senior High School Teacher’s Work Productivity in Sub Rayon 3 Sambas Regency. This quantitative research uses a survey method with a Likert Scale’s questionnaire as its data collection tool. The sample in this study were determined by Slovin’ formula. The samples were 79 respondents, in details of 34 men and 45 women, teaching experience within 1-16 years and age range within 21-40 years. The collected data were tested through classical assumption tests. While the hypothesis testing was done through simple and multiple linear regression analysis using IBM SPSS 26.0 program. Based on the statistic results, the conclusions are: 1) Telling style affects the teacher’s work productivity by 0,181 or 18.1%; 2) Selling style affects the teacher’s work productivity by 0,256 or 25.6%; 3) Participating style affects the teacher’s work productivity by 0,245 or 24.5%; 4) Delegating style affects the teacher’s work productivity by 0,128 or 12.8%; and 5) Situational Leadership simultaneously affects the teacher’s work productivity by 0,409 or 40.9%. The implications of this research shows that Situational Leadership can increase the senior high school teacher’s work productivity in Sub-Rayon 3 Sambas Regency.
