Trata de explicar cómo la geografía condiciona a los líderes mundiales, sus elecciones se ven limitadas por accidentes geográficos. Añade el autor que para comprender los acontecimientos mundiales es preciso conocer a la gente. Se trata de explicar el pasado, presente y el futuro con la Geografía como referencia.
