Abstract

Presents a survey of energy production, trade and usage in Canada and the US. Compares the N American case with that of other major industrial countries for primary energy consumption and electricity use. Discusses Federal energy pricing policies, the distribution of oil and gas use revenues, and the role of oil and gas, electricity and coal, and nuclear sources in energy policy. -L.Martin
