Abstract

In this paper, an interactive multi-swarm PSO is proposed to handle the multiobjective optimization problems (MOPs). The preference relation of the objectives is specified during the optimization process. The selective pressure in the main swarm is improved by the preference information from the assistant swarm. The simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm attains better performance of convergence and diversity. © 2008 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
