See, stats, and : https : / / www . researchgate.net/publication/289983216TypesFootballArticleDOI:10.5901/mjss.2016.v7n1s1p59CITATIONS2READS1781:Some:PhDNurNational10SEEAll.The.Doi:10.5901/mjss.2016.v7n1s1p59AbstractManyresearchhasbeencarryoutaboutfootballhooliganismordeviantbehaviouramongfootballfansespeciallyinwesterncountry.Theissuehasbeendiscussedsince1980sbutuntilnow,thereisstillexistingofmisbehaviour(deviant)amongfootballfansaroundtheworld.ButinMalaysia,therearenoresearchhasbeendonetoexplainaboutdeviantbehaviouramongfootballfans.FootballfansinMalaysiaalsofacingmisbehavioursuchasdeviantwhilewatchingliveatthestadium,thenumbersofincidentsofdeviantbehaviouramongfootballfansincreasedaybyday.Therefore,thisresearchhasbeencarryingouttohaveanacademicexplanationwhythefansbehavelikethatandwhattypeofdeviantbehaviournormallyoccur.Numbersof600footballfansfromstateofKelantan,Perak,SelangorandJohorwerechosentoberespondents.Respondentsaroundage18-50yearsoldwereinvolvedwithinthisstudy.Thedatashowedthattherespondentsinvolvedwithverbalandphysicalbehaviourwhilewatchingfootballatthestadium.Atotalof77.8%ofrespondentssaidtheyweretalkingbadabouttheopponentteamandtheirfans(tryingtoprovoketheopponentfans).Throwingtheobjectssuchasrocks,firecrackers,flaresandbottlesalwayshappensatthestadium.Thethrowingincidentshappenusuallybecauseofdissatisfactiontowardrefereedecisions.Besidesthat,therespondentsalsoinvolvedwithfightingagainstopponentsfans(36.7%).Allthebehaviourseitherverbal'sorphysicalswerenothappenifthesefanshaveaspiritofsportsmanshipandlearntobeaprofessionalfans.
