Abstract

Enzymatic technologies for processing cellulose-containing raw materials are of great importance for the development of industry. Monomers of sugars and non-hydrolyzed residue are formed in the destruction process of biopolymers. Monosaccharides can be used for assimilation by microorganisms to produce organic acids. The non-hydrolyzed residue is modified cellulose with great potential value for use in various industries. Conversion of kraft pulp, with a concentration of 10%, was carried out with economically justified dosages of biocatalysts based on an enzyme complex from the fungus Penicillium verruculosum. The maximum degree of hydrolysis was 68% for reducing sugars (glucose, xylose, mannose, xylobiose and oligosaccharides). The possibility of obtaining cryogel from biomodified hardwood pulp was investigated in the paper. The article shows the possibility of controlled destruction of kraft pulp with a change in the dosage of enzyme preparations.
