Abstract

This paper surveys a review of reconfigurable finite state machine. It’s a powerful methodology for achieving high performance. Minimizing the resource required in the implementation of many applications points out the difference between run time reconfigurable finite state machine and programmable finite state machine. The application of the concept of self-reconfigurable finite state machine to achieve VLSI architecture of dynamically reconfiguration is also discussed.
