Abstract

In the last years, the scientific community and funding bodies have paid attention to data collected, generated or used in different research activities, because the dissemination of these data can be seen as a constituent of Open Science. For this reason, many funders are requiring or promoting the development of Data Management Plans, and depositing open data following the FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable) data management principles. Libraries and research offices of Catalan universities that work in a coordinated way within the Open Science Area of the University Services Consortium of Catalonia offer support services to research data management. The different activities carried out at the Consortium level, as well as the implementation of the service in each university are presented.
