Background : WHO recommends that infants should be exclusively breastfed from birth to 6 months of age then breastfed together with complementary foods until the age of 2 years. Breastfeeding is a natural process, but for the success of the lactation process in exclusive breastfeeding, support from various parties is neededObjectives : to map existing evidence about lactation support in exclusive breastfeeding Method : this research design is a scoping review, with frame work PEOs by using 6 database from Willey, EbscoHost, Pubmed, Proquest, Scincedirect and Jstore, with inclusion criteria is an original article with English that can be accessed in full text in 2017-2021. Selection of articles using The Prisma Flowchart and critical appraisal using The Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) critical appraisal tool. Result : based on database searches obtained 10 articles that are relevant to the research objectives. The research comes from developing countries in Asia, Africa and Europe, consists of qualitative study, cross-sectional study, quasieksperimental studies and RCT. There are 4 themes from the database mapping results, there is source, time, place and shape from lactation support. Conclusion : exclusive breastfeeding counseling from health workers and lactation counselors is very needed for breastfeeding mothers from pregnancy, childbirth and Post Natal Care. Family and peer supports is needed to increase self-confidance during breastfeeding. Regulations and policies from the government and workplace are very important for mothers to give exclusive breastfeeding.
