Teachers and Augmented Reality. New educational paradigm, new teaching role

Abstract

Nowadays, while new technologies are widespread in classrooms, education is facing a paradigm shift. Augmented Reality appears to be the perfect tool to ensure hybrid education. This technology, halfway between the real and virtual worlds, facilitates experiences in highly significant learning environments. The aim of this paper is to reflect on the state of augmented reality in education and to explore more about the limitations elementary teachers have to face when they try to use technologies.
